Alerting the Customer

Once titles have been assigned to customers on the waiting list, it's time to contact your customer to let them know the title is ready for pickup.

 

There are two methods you can use to contact your customer:

  1. By text or email.
  2. By telephone.

Automated Text/Email

By far the easiest method for contacting your customers regarding a title that is available is through an automated text/email system. This takes your clerk out of the equation frees the clerk up to perform other tasks.

 

The things you will need to perform automated text /email alerts are:

Telephone

Each pull slip contains the customer's name and telephone number, so you can use this to reach your customers by telephone.
